In the given article the author ties the main problems of the tolerance’s absence in the sphere of the
consumerism with the moral make-up of the modern user.
The purpose of the article is to conceptualize and identify particular scientific and spiritual development of
modern society, associated with the lack of tolerance in the world of modern kons′ûmerizirovannoj culture. The
author emphasizes that intemperance and disorganization in the culture of the consumer society leads to
increased social conflicts in the context of the economic crisis. The article provides the definitions of zapping,
"simulacrum" as something that makes no sense and content, the "postmaterial′nyh" system of values, the
diversity of concepts tolerance, culture, shopping, kons′merizirovannaâsinglizaciâ in a culture of
postmodernism, a way to "rizoma" in postmodern conditions, offers a relationship of consumerism, social
morality of tolerance and universal human values. The author concludes that, in the global kons′ûmerizacii
society the development of spiritual culture based on moral and ethical priorities and social justice almost
impossible.
