Анотація:
The article discusses ceremonies held to honour the crowning of the King in December 1632, the entry to Rome (November 1633) of by Jerzy Ossoliński, obedience envoy to Pope Urban VIII, as well as events held by the papal nepotists to honour the monarch’s brother Alexander Charles Vasa staying in Rome at the beginning of the following year (musical drama Il Sant’Alessio and the Giostra del Saracino tournament prepared by, among others, Francesco Guitti, of which rich iconographic material has been preserved).
