Види та функції інтертексту у романі М. Юрсенар «Філософський камінь»

Abstract

The article explores intertextual phenomena in the novel of M. Yourcenar «Philosopher’s stone». The author’s skills of using intertext for the creation of the atmosphere and tonality of Renaissance period are analysed. Much attention is paid to the syncretic nature of the citations, allusions and reminiscences which are integrated into the text of the novel.
