Анотація:
Materials are presented concerning the number of Marmota bobac Müll, 1776 in Velikoburlukian (the Kharkov Region) and Streltsovkian (the Voroshilovgrad Region) populations. The total number of M. bobac in the republic reaches 70000 and it should be controlled by settling the animals into the steppe reservation areas.
