Анотація:
The genus Bulgaroperla described by Rauscher on the basis of one species from Bulgaria and considered to be an endemic one for this country is distributed in the Western Caucasus as well. The Caucasian samples clearly differ from the Bulgarian ones by less body dimensions, the structure of Sternite VIII in a male and genital plate in a female; they are more light-coloured. Therefore they are distinguished as a new subspecies Bulgaroperla mirabilis caucasica ssp. n. The structure of the genital appendages, wings and an egg evidence for an intermediate position of the genus which is a connecting link between the subfamilies.
