Статья посвящена анализу результатов последних исследований стоянки Погон.
This article deals with new investigations of Pogon Upper Paleolithic site (Pushkari village, Novgorod-Siverski district, Chernigiv region). In 2011-2013 field seasons 8 m2 was excavated. The flints assemblage consists of 2300 artefacts, including 62 tools, which are subdivided on burins, points, retouched blades and flakes. Fauna materials are presented be mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), polar fox (Alopex lagopus), Pleistocene horse (Equus sp.), wolf (Canis lupus) and deer (Cervidae). Four small pits with vertically deposited bones and one hearth were discovered.
