Особливості гірської метеорології та роботи гірського синоптика

Abstract

Оскільки для правильної оцінки метеорологічної ситуації у гірській місцевості необхідно враховувати багато погодних показників, то гірську метеорологію визначають однією з найскладніших. Гірський метеоролог відповідає за велику територію, погода на якій впливає на умови близько половини земної поверхні. Автор статті класифікує потоки, що трапляються в гірській місцевості, перераховує проблеми, які постають перед гірськими метеорологами, визначає фізичні і психологічні особливості метеорологічної роботи в горах.

Поскольку для правильной оценки метеорологической ситуации в горной местности необходимо брать во внимание много погодных показателей, то горную метеорологию признают одной из сложнейших. Горный метеоролог отвечает за большую территорию, где погода влияет на условия почти половины земной поверхности. Автор статьи классифицирует потоки, которые наблюдаются в горной местности, называет проблемы, которые встречаются горному метеорологу, определяет физические и психологические особенности метеорологической работы в горах.

The aim of the article was to describe the problems of inexperienced young weather specialists working in the mountain regions. As long as for the right evaluation of the meteorological situation in the mountains it is necessary to take into consideration many weather indexes, the mountain meteorology is defined as one of the most difficult spheres. The mountain weather forecaster is in charge of the big territory, where the weather makes influence on the conditions of almost half of the Earth surface. The author of the article classifies the streams that happen in the mountain regions, lists problems that the mountain weather forecasters have to solve, defines physical and psychological peculiarities of the meteorological work in the mountains. Inexperienced forecasters usually rely only on computer models and avoid using other available methods of forecasting. It is necessary to emphasize the need to be more flexible in the use of methods and procedures. The weather forecasters should not be afraid of relying on conceptual models in the forecasting process. It is necessary to use a distinguishing model that combines both analysis and intuitive methods. It allows forecasters to analyze incomplete information under the constraint of time and give proper prognosis. The mountain forecaster has to be ready to the snowfalls, ice storms, floods, landslips, mud flows etc. This research creates basis for the future studies and findings of the solutions to the given problems.
