Французский язык в контакте с английским за пределами метрополии

Abstract

Статья посвящена случаям влияния английского языка на французский в ареале франкофонии. Объектами исследования являются территориальные варианты языка, основные же формы существования английского языка Великобритании и французского языка Франции в контексте данной работы не рассматриваются. При изучении ненациональных вариантов особое внимание обращает на себя, с одной стороны, уровень освоения местными пользователями европейской культуры, отраженной во французском языке, а с другой – уровень внедрения элементов локальной культуры в систему французского языка. В условиях современной глобализации подобное влияние английского значительно усиливается. Ключевые слова: метрополия, ассимиляция, территориальный вариант языка, жуаль, заимствования, франкофония

Стаття присвячена випадкам впливу англійської мови на французьку в ареалі франкофонії. Об‘єктами досліду вважаються територіальні варіанти мови, основні ж форми існування англійської мови Великобританії та французької мови Франції у контексті даної роботи не розглядаються. Під час вивчення ненацiональних варіантів особливу увагу звертає на себе рівень освоєння місцевими користувачами європейської культури, відображеної у французькій мові, з одного боку, та рівень впровадження елементів локальної культури у систему французької мови з іншого. В умовах сучасної глобалізації подiбний вплив англійської значно посилюється. Ключові слова: метрополія, асіміляція, територiальний варіант мови, жуаль, запозичення, франкофонія

The aim of this work is to show how in actual time of globalization English being an international language influences other languages. It is important to notice that in this article it goes about the conflict between poly-national languages, in other words it is a conflict that develops not between two main forms of English in Great Britain and French in France but between territorial variants of these languages (in particular – the territory of Canada, USA, Africa). When studying non-national variants of a language one should pay attention from one hand to the level of assimilation of European culture reflected inside French language by local people and to the level of implantation of local culture elements into the system of French from the other hand. Being under the influence of English French language in Canada didn’t face considerable changes in the sphere of content and expression of grammar categories of basic parts of speech as well as the syntax of French phrases didn’t copy the sentence models that are regularly used in English. The speech of French Canadians just goes beyond the use of separate foreign words and expressions, as well as code switching is not acceptable in Canadian French. The specific feature of borrowings in Louisiana was the thing that biggest part of French speaking population in this State didn’t study English at school and just used its simplified variant that is so much close normal French pronunciation, morphology and syntax. The research of African variants of French language permits to state the peculiar properties of pronunciation along with specific vocabulary compose the base of distinctive features that permit to oppose French and its local variants.
