The statements of historians, literary critics, musicologists about little-known facts of musician and pedagogue Adam Bartsytsky’s life and creative work are presented in the article for the first time. Undisclosed archive documents which give more information about this personality of the Ukrainian and Polish musical cultures at the end of the 18th century and in the beginning of the 20th century are also published.
