Структура области звездообразования W3/W4. V. Функция светимости

Abstract

На основании каталога ДК-величин и спектральных классов 1150 звезд в площадке, содержащей область звездообразования WЗ/W4 и ассоциацию звезд высоких светимостей Саs ОВ6, определена функция светимости для звезд спектральных классов О, В, A в интервале -7ᵐ ≤ Mv ≤ +2ᵐ. Обнаружен избыток звезд высоких светимостей с Mv ≤ -4ᵐ, что соответствует расстоянию r ≥ 2 кпк, на котором находятся область звездообразования WЗ/W4, ассоциация Саs ОВ6 и спиральная ветвь Персея.

The luminosity function based on the catalogue of BV magnitudes and spectral classes of 1150 stars in the area containing the star formation region W3/W4 and the association of high luminosity stars Cas OB6 is determined. The resulting luminosity function for -7ᵐ ≤ Mv ≤ +2ᵐ is presented. In this area local density enhancement of stars brighter than Mv ≤ -4ᵐ, which corresponds to the distance from the Sun r ≥ 2 kpc, is found. The star formation region W3/W4, the association of high luminosity stars Cas OB6 and the Perseus spiral arm are located just at this distance.
