Переяславський краєзнавець Яків Іванович Благодаров: контури біографічного портрету

Abstract

Переяславщина – один з тих мікрорегіонів нашої держави, на який повсякчас спрямовувалася прискіплива увага дослідників минулого. Через свою давню історію, численні доленосні події цей край є одним з важливих центрів формування української нації та державності. Визначальні культурно-історичні процеси та пов’язані з ними визначні постаті зумовили те, що він у різні часи привертав до себе увагу археологів, істориків, етнографів, культурологів, краєзнавців та інших дослідників. Особливо цінними є відомості про тих людей, що самі цікавилися історією Переяславщини, вивчали та досліджували її старожитності. Однією з таких особистостей був Яків Іванович Благодаров (1764–1833). Метою публікації є висвітлення діяльності одного з перших краєзнавців Переяславщини. Завданням, що планується реалізувати, є створення на основі наявної джерельної бази біографічного портрету Я.І. Благодарова та з’ясування його особистого внеску у розвиток історичного краєзнавства. Методологія. Важливе місце у сучасних дослідницьких підходах у історичному краєзнавстві займають біографічний та просопографічний методи. Саме персоніфікація та комплексне вивчення взаємодії людини та оточення дозволяє здійснити відповідний аналіз історичного минулого та виявити ті закономірності, що вплинули на його хід. З-поміж значної плеяди визначних історичних постатей, діячів минулого важливим є виявлення маловідомих й забутих імен, пов’язаних з історією краю. Наукова новизна. Передусім Я.І. Благодаров знаний як літературний діяч кінця ХVIII – початку ХІХ ст., перекладач та автор художніх творів. Втім, відомо, що, окрім літературної творчості, значний інтерес для нього становило виявлення предметів старовини та вивчення історичних місць Переяславщини. Проте до сьогодні на цей аспект його діяльності увага дослідників фактично не зверталася. Відтак, і окремого дослідження, що розкривало б цю сторону його життя раніше не з’являлося. Результати дослідження. У статті відтворено життєпис Якова Івановича Благодарова. Через аналіз джерел розкрито основні віхи його біографії. Зокрема, зауважено про нього як студента, літератора, службовця та краєзнавця.

Summary. Pereyaslav Region is one of those micro regions of our country, which has always been attracted by the scrupulous attention of researchers of the past. Due to its long history, numerous fateful events make this region one of the important centers of formation of the Ukrainian nation and statehood. Prominent cultural and historical figures and well-known prominent figures have caused them to attract famous archaeologists, historians, ethnographers, cultural scientists, local lore scientists and individual researchers at different times. Particularly valuable is the information about those people who were interested in the history of Pereyaslav Region, studied and explored its antiquity. One of them was Yakov Blagodarov (1764–1833). The purpose of the publication is to cover his activities as one of the first local historians of Pereyaslav. The task to be implemented is to create a biographical portrait based on the available source. Methodology. Biographical and prosopographic methods play an important role in current research approaches in historical studies. It is the personification and comprehensive study of human interaction and the environment that allows a comprehensive analysis of the historical past and to identify the patterns that influenced its course. Among the large galaxy of famous historical figures, famous figures of the past, it is important to identify the littleknown and forgotten names associated with the history of the region. Scientific novelty. First of all, Y.I Blagodarov is known as a literary figure of the late 18th - early 19th centuries, translator and author of literary works. However, it is known that in addition to literary creativity, it was of great interest to him to discover objects of antiquity and study the historical sites of Pereyaslav. However, to date, this aspect of his work has not actually attracted the attention of researchers. Therefore, there was no separate study that would reveal this side of his life before. Research results. The article reproduces the biography of Yakov Blagodorov. The analysis of the sources reveals the main milestones of his biography. In particular, he was mentioned as a student, writer and local historian. On August 14, 1812, at the age of about 48, Y.I. Blagodarova was transferred to the post of postmaster in Pereyaslav Poltava province, where he remained for the rest of his life. While in Pereyaslav Y.I. Blagodarov studies local antiquities as a correspondent collaborates with the Society of Amateurs of Domestic Antiquities of Moscow University. Yakov Blagodarov is one of the first local researchers. People of that time - Alexei Levshin, Nikolai Melgunov, Pavel Svinin - mention the acquaintance with him in their records.
