Архетипові проекції в іконографії українських вишитих весільних рушників Середньої Наддніпрянщини XIX-початку XX століть

Abstract

Семантика композиционных элементов орнамента вышивки исследуется в контексте мировой, славянской мифологии, украинского фольклора. Сочетание архетипических образов мужского и женского начал в иконографии украинских ритуальных полотенец рассматривается как воплощение духовной целостности, что поднимает украинское традиционное вышитое полотенце с уровня синтетического декоративного искусства на уровень народного искусства, в котором целостность видения мира возникает как результат канонично закрепленной традиции взаимодействия между миром и человеком.

Семантика композиційних елементів орнаменту вишивки досліджується у контексті світової, слов`янскої міфології, українського фольклору. Поєднання архетипових образів чоловічого та жіночого начал в іконографії українських ритуальних рушників розглядається як втілення духовної цілісності, що підіймає український традиційний вишитий рушник з рівня синтетичного декоративного мистецтва на рівень народного мистецтва, в якому цілісність світобачення виникає як результат канонічно закріпленої традиції взаємодії між світом і людиною.

The semantics of compositional elements of embroidery ornament is explored in the context of the world, Slavic mythology, the Ukrainian folklore on the material of Middle Naddnipryanschina Region wedding towels from the National Center of Folk Culture "Ivan Gonchar Museum" (Kyiv) collection. The article deals the male and female archetypal images. Feminine, especially the Mother archetype, represent the following images: moon spirals, ornamental "snake" motif in the lower friezes and central Trees composition, rosettes in the form of "stars", chevrons with an angle pointing down, signs of earthly and heavenly waters (zigzags, waves, meanders, hemstitchs), symbols of land-mother fertility (rhombuses with dots inside, oblique crosses in square, "thistles", "honeycombs"), vegetable parts (bunches of viburnum, poppy heads) and others. The symbols "hourglass", "octagonal star", combined with straight cross, straight cross with the square in the middle, symbols of water fertilized by the sun (meanders in the form of wavy branches with Chess placement rosettes), embody the unity of material and spiritual, male and female principles. The combination of male and female archetypal images in the Ukrainian ritual towels iconography is examined as the embodiment of the spiritual wholeness, and it raises the Ukrainian traditional embroidered towel with the level of synthetic decorative arts to the level of folk art in which the integrity of the vision of the world arises as a result of canonically fixed tradition of interaction between the world and a man
