Статус классового анализа в современной социологии

Abstract

The main goal of this article is to prove that class analysis is quite appropriate in the study of modern societies. The author gives a substantiation of the accordance of class analysis with the essence of sociological imagination as it was considered by founders of sociology. Furthermore, he examines the changes in the status of class analysis that accompany different practices of sociological description and explanation of reality as well as clears up the origin of interrelationship between classes and available structures of inequality.
