Abstract

The article is dedicated to the investigation of the literary work of «The Inklings» – a circle of the scientists, literary critics, writers and philosophers of the middle of the 88 century as well as the importance of their work in the general literary process of the English literature of the 88 century. The main principles of the notion of «Romantic theology» formulated by them and their contribution into the treasury of British and world myth creation are taken into consideration.
