З історії життєвого шляху Юрія Анатолійовича Пінчука (до 85-річчя від дня народження)

Abstract

Стаття присвячена видатному історику, історіографові, джерелознавцю ХХ–ХХІ ст. Ю.А. Пінчуку. Матеріал був підготовлений у 2022 р. до ювілею від дня народження науковця, проте з об’єктивних причин видання стало можливим у 2023 р. Мета статті – висвітлити основні етапи життєвого та творчого шляху Ю.А. Пінчука, вибір головної теми наукового дослідження, ініціативи вченого, пов’язані з увіковіченням пам’яті М.І. Костомарова. У статті приділено увагу професійній діяльності Ю.А. Пінчука в наукових установах, наставницькій роботі та популяризації української історіографії, виголошено основні студії, яким вчений присвятив своє життя. Методологічна основа роботи ґрунтується на базі біографічного методу, з використанням принципів історизму, об’єктивності, науковості та системності, що забезпечили комплексне дослідження проблеми. Висновки. Представлено значення наукової діяльності Ю.А. Пінчука загалом, його наукового доробку в контексті означеної проблематики – костомаровознавства, а також організаторської та навчально-просвітницької діяльності.

The article is dedicated to the outstanding historian, historiographer, source researcher of the 20th– 21st c. Yu.A. Pinchuk. The material was prepared in 2022 for the anniversary of the scientistʼs birthday, however, for objective reasons, the publication became possible in 2023. The purpose of the article is to highlight the main stages of the life and intellectual path of Yu.A. Pinchuk, the choice of the main topic of scientific research, initiatives of the scientist related to the perpetuation of the memory of M.I. Kostomarov. The article pays attention to Yuriy Pinchukʼs professional activities in scientific institutions, mentoring and popularisation of Ukrainian historiography, and outlines the main studies to which the scholar devoted his life. The methodological basis of the work is based on the biographical method, using the principles of historicism, objectivity, scientificity and systematicity, which ensured a comprehensive study of the problem. Conclusions. In conclusion, the article presents the Yu.A. Pinchukʼs scientific activity in general, his scientific output in the context of the specified problem – Kostomarov studies, as well as organizational and educational activities.
