Ногохвостки (Collembola) из гнезд мелких млекопитающих приазовских степей

Abstract

In nests of 7 species of small mammals in the department Whomutovskaya steppe» of the Ukrainian steppe reservation and near it 49 species (16507 individuals) of Collembola are collected, most of them being met in several hosts simultaseously. Collembola quan¬tity in nests of various species of mammals is determined not so much by the structure and depth of the nest occurrence as by the character of the biotope, and in one and the same host it depends exclusively on the place of the nest location. The following 10 species of Collembola are dominating everywhere: Onychiurus procampatus, 0. octopunctatus, Ceratophysella succinea, Isotomina orientalis, Isotoma propinqua, I. fennica, I. notabilis, Lepidocyrtus cyaneus, Pseudosinella fallax, P. sexoculata.
