Інтерпретація трьох законів робототехніки А. Азімова: цикл оповідань "Я, Робот"

Abstract

У статті розглянуто двоїсту природу наукової фантастики Айзека Азімова у визначенні основних моральних постулатів. В цьому контексті досліджено особливості авторської інтерпретації Трьох законів робототехніки Айзека Азімова. Охарактеризовано роботехнічну концепцію автора, встановлено, що Три закони утворюють організаторський принцип і об’єднуючу тему для серії робіт «Я, робот». Розкрито зміст художніх азімовських образів-роботів у світі майбутнього. Так, у збірнику подається вісім новел з циклу роботизації, написаних в різний час, але поєднаних спільними героями і єдиною концепцією розвитку етичних стосунків між роботами та людьми. Історії Азімова випробовують його Три закони в різних ситуаціях, що приводять до певних варіацій та модифікацій. На конкретних прикладах продемонстровано соціально-філософський шар оповідань збірки «Я, Робот». Закони робототехніки, що становлять основу їх поведінкової логіки, надійно захищають людей. Автором відображено один із проблемних аспектів світу майбутнього (зіткнення високих технологій і моральності), як синтез реалістичного і фантастичного. Активно використовуючи форму діалогу, Азімов розвиває в оповіданнях конфлікт між прибічниками раціоналізму, гуманізму і знань. Пов’язуючи ці три якості, письменник зображує роботів, незалежно від їх призначення, за образом і подобою людською, і цим самим розкриває діалогічний підтекст моральності у різноплановому аспекті.

The article deals with the dual nature of Isaac Asimov’s science fiction in determining the basic moral tenets. In this context the peculiarities of the author’s interpretation of Isaac Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotechnics have been explored. The author’s robotechnic concept has been described; it is found out that the Three Laws form the organizing principle and the unifying theme for the series of works «I, Robot». The content of artistic Asimov’s images-robots in the world of the future has been revealed. Thus, the collection offers eight stories from the cycle of robotization, written at different times, but united by common characters and the single concept of developing ethical relationships between robots and humans. Asimov’s stories test his Three Laws in different situations, leading to certain variations and modifications. Specific examples have demonstrated the social-philosophical layer of stories of the collection «I, Robot», the laws of robotechnics, which form the basis of their behavioral logic, confidently protect people. The author reflects one of the problematic aspects of the world of the future (the collision of high technology and morality) as a synthesis of realistic and fantastic. Actively using the form of dialogue, Asimov develops in the stories the conflict between supporters of rationalism, humanism and knowledge. By combining these three qualities, the writer portrays robots, regardless of their purpose, in the image and likeness of the human, thus revealing the dialogical implications of morality in the multifaceted aspect.
