Античное городище расположено на межбалочной гряде, между Ак-Мечетским лиманом с юга в устьевой части балок Попова и Кельшейской, и безымянной балкой с севера, в устье которой время от времени образуется небольшой “сивашик“ (мелководный соленый пересыхающий летом водоем).
