Система народного образования караимов Таврической губернии во второй половине XIX – начале XX вв.

Abstract

Вопросы, связанные с изучением истории и культурного наследия караимского народа, сегодня привлекают внимание большого числа исследователей. Вызвано это, лрежде всего, тем, что эта тема практически не рассматривалась в отечественной историографии. В частности, малоисследованной остается проблема истории развития караимского народного образования в Таврической губернии во второй половине XIX - начале XX вв.

The history of the development of the system of Karaites’ public education in Taurican Gubernia in the second half of the 19th - the beginning of the 20th centuries is examined in this article. An attempt to reconstruct the history of origin of the structure of Russia’s state system of public education of «small nations», to analyze the ways of its formation, to reveal the main stages of the development, to study the most important moments in the history of interrelations of Russia’s administration and Karaites’ confessional self-government, to trace the evolution of opinions of representatives of progressive national intelligentsia was undertaken with the help of archive documents, statistical data, memoirs as well as using historiographic heritage.
