Національна академія наук України та державотворення: кадровий внесок

Abstract

Коли йдеться про внесок Національної академії наук України у суспільний розвиток держави, перше, що спадає на думку, це, звісно, численні досягнення і розробки в галузі природничих наук, створення нових технологій, здобутки у соціогуманітарній сфері. Автор статті привертає увагу до іншого боку діяльності українських учених на благо своєї країни — залучення вихідців з Академії на державну службу. В історичній ретроспективі розглянуто закладену вже понад 100 років тому традицію служіння науковців інтересам своєї держави у законодавчій та судовій гілках влади, в економічному та гуманітарному блоках Уряду, в дипломатичному корпусі.

When it comes to the contribution of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to the public development of the state, the first thing that comes to mind is, of course, numerous achievements and developments in the natural sciences, the creation of new technologies, achievements in the socio-humanitarian sphere. The author of the article draws attention to the other side of the activities of Ukrainian scientists for the benefit of their country - the attraction of cadres from the Academy to the civil service. In the historical retrospect, the article considers the tradition of scholars serving the interests of their state laid down more than 100 years ago in the legislative and judicial branches of power, in the economic and humanitarian blocks of the government, in the diplomatic corps.
