Социолингвистические проблемы становления и развития диалектов d'oil в старофранцузский период

Abstract

A heating discussion has been going on for decades and define what the origin and way of development of the French language is. Different linguists have different opinions on the problem but one thing is undisputable: it has started to develop on the basis of the “d’oпl” dialects. The problem to investigabe is which of the dialects has played the most important role in the process of development of the French national language and why residents of Paris and the linguistic “outskirts” are of different opinions on the problem.
