Анотація:
This article is about the national rite which Ukrainian writers began to use massively in dramatic texts at the end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX century. There are wedding rites, the rite of the «street», the mermaid’s rites, Ivana Kupala and Christmas rites in Ukraine. They are allied to the rites of Dionysus, from which the ancient Greek drama arose. These rites promoted the consolidation of Ukrainian dramatic literature and its folk source.
