Анотація:
The separate genres of folk poetic creation - legends, fairy-tales and narrations - are examined in the article. The methods of translation and motivation of development or decline of these genres are analyzed. Separate attention is given to the narration potential as of the art of communication. The problem of collection and recording of materials and also the criteria of their professional selection are explored.
