Abstract

Статтю присвячено трагічній сторінці в історії українців, які здавна мешкали на землях, що в міжвоєнний період увійшли до складу Польщі. У ній процитовано уривки з розповідей переселенців переважно про обставини їх вимушеного переїзду з Польщі до України (Радянського Союзу).

The paper deals with a tragic episode in the history of the Ukrainians who have resided long since on their native lands being a part of Poland during the interwar period. There are quotations of extracts from the Ukrainian deportees’ stories about the circumstances of their compulsory resettlement from Poland to Ukraine (the then part of the Soviet Union).
